Design for ALZA Corporation's new corporate headquarters and lab facilities included master planning and building design for three 4-story office buildings totaling 360,000 sf, a two story research laboratory and a 60,000 sf pilot plant. The program includes structured parking for 1300 cars beneath landscaped decks, a fitness center, outdoor recreational facility, employee cafeteria, auditorium and juice bar. The 20 acre site covers two parcels and will provide a gateway to Shoreline Park.

Completion: 2000
